Fancy Dress Theme? Neuroscience
vs. Sexuality: What Defines Me?
In just 7 years Latitude has
established new areas and arenas, allowing more and more fans to come see top
artists and experience the creative culture for themselves. This year's line up
is bigger and better than before with all the big names you'd expect including
Bloc Party, Foals and Kraftwerk, not forgetting comedians Eddie Izzard and Sean
Lock to bring some laughs.
This years Latitude fancy dress theme
is 'Neuroscience vs. Sexuality: What Defines Me?'. How do they describe this deep
and philosophical theme? " As such, neuroscience now grips
contemporary artists, writers, performers and thinkers in a way we have not
seen since developments in psychoanalysis shook up creative and intellectual
life in the 1950s’. Alongside neuroscience, Latitude will also explore the
subject of sex, looking at the central roles that sex, gender and sexual
orientation play in creating our individual and collective identities."
